HLunPACK recently completed the production and delivery of a new automatic potato chips packaging line for one of our customers. The project combines six VFFS packaging machines, six multihead combination weighers and two automatic layered feeding systems, together with customized packaging roll film supplied for the customer’s production.
A complete multi-line snack packaging project combining automatic packaging equipment and customized roll film.
This delivery is another recent integrated packaging project completed by HLunPACK, connecting product feeding, weighing, bag forming and flexible packaging materials within one coordinated solution. The line is designed for potato chips and similar snack products that require continuous weighing and automatic packaging.
PROJECT DELIVERY VIDEO:
The complete packaging line was produced and prepared as a multi-station system rather than as a group of isolated machines. Six weighing and packaging stations work in parallel, while the upstream feeding system organizes product distribution across the line. This layout helps create a more continuous and structured packaging process for snack food production.
The main packaging section consists of six VFFS vertical form fill seal machines, each matched with a multihead combination weigher. The weighers portion the potato chips according to the target pack weight and discharge the product into the corresponding VFFS machine for bag forming, filling, sealing and cutting.

· 2 automatic layered feeding systems
· Product distribution and conveying sections
· Finished package conveying sections
· Customized packaging roll film supplied with the project
Potato chips are lightweight, irregular in shape and relatively fragile, so a stable product supply is important before weighing. In this project, two automatic layered feeding systems are used to organize and distribute the product to the six weighing stations, helping reduce repeated manual feeding and supporting a steadier multi-line workflow.
Potato Chips Feeding → Automatic Distribution → Multihead Weighing → VFFS Packaging → Finished Bag Conveying

In addition to the automatic packaging equipment, the customer also ordered the corresponding packaging roll film from HLunPACK. For a VFFS packaging project, film structure, thickness, sealing performance, coefficient of friction, printing registration and bag dimensions can all influence machine operation and finished package quality.
By coordinating the packaging machinery and roll film within the same project, HLunPACK can consider material and equipment compatibility together. This reflects our approach of combining flexible packaging with packaging equipment, rather than treating the two as completely separate supply items.
The delivered line is intended for potato chips packaging, while a similar VFFS and multihead weighing concept can also be configured for puffed snacks, popcorn, nuts, dried fruit, candy and other free-flowing snack products. The final solution can be adjusted according to product characteristics, target pack weight, bag dimensions and required production capacity.
The completion of this 6-line potato chips packaging system is another recent delivery from HLunPACK. Our team continues to support packaging projects by bringing together flexible packaging materials, customized roll film, weighing systems, feeding systems and automatic packaging machinery around the customer’s actual production requirements.
From packaging material selection to equipment configuration, HLunPACK aims to provide a more coordinated packaging solution and help customers reduce communication between separate material and machine suppliers. More production and delivery updates will continue to be shared through HLunPACK Company News.
